What do you need in order to use TSLGateway in conjuction with third party products and services? The exact requirements will be determined by exactly which kinds of device, service or software you intend to interface with. In some cases you may already have most of what is needed. The one common requirement is that you have at least one computer running Microsoft WindowsTM 2000 or XP in order to run the TSLGatway services. If absolutely necessary these can run as programs under Microsoft WindowsTM 98 or ME, but this is not recommended.

As to the specific requirements for each service, the following table is not an exhaustive list of requirements across all providers, but is designed to give you a rough idea of the various 'pieces' involved.

PDA Systems	You will need ... A broadband internet connection (with fixed IP address in some cases). A contract with a mobile network to provide PDA devices and GPRS data connection. One of the suported mobile data solutions
SMS	You will need ... A broadband internet connection. An account with a suported SMS text message provider.
Email	You will need ... A broadband internet connection. SMTP outbound email server (usually provided by your ISP as part of your internet connection).
Caller Id	You will need ... A phone system with the capability to share Caller Id information with third party applications, or A Caller Id device that plugs onto your standard phone line to provide the same functionality.
Postcodes	You will need ... An account with an online postcode data service provider, or A software-based postcode solution with sufficient licences for the number of users that will access it. A broadband internet connection, if using an online service provider.
